Manpack Satellite Terminals
Innovative, portable and fully modular VSAT system created to support the customer's most demanding applications, taking SatCom beyond just basic connectivity.
Flexible design allows the terminal to be adapted to the end-users specific needs ensuring its timeless quality and reliability.
The SatPack COBALT Terminal comprises of a modular design which includes a reflector from 60cm to 130cm, 20W/40W RF modules in X, Ku and Ka-Bands,and Baseband modules with either integrated modem of customer choosing or an ONYX extension for remote modem connectivity.
The SatPack AutoMate is the motorized version of our manpack which allows for auto-acquire and tracking of inclined Satellites
Flyaway Satellite Terminals
SMART is a complete FlyAway VSAT system, offering a wide range of configurations tailored to individual user needs. In basic version, it features a motorized antenna with an aperture ranging from 1.5 m to 2.4 m. Supplied by the Antenna Control Unit allows full system management from the antenna's position and automatic terminal pointing to the selected signal in any conditions, without the need for base levelling.
The terminal operates in Quad band: C, X, Ku and Ka. Band change is tool-free and involves just swapping the antenna feed arm, which integrates all necessary equipment such as transmitters, receivers, and filters.
The system is delivered in one of the chosen configurations, complete with cabling and power systems, packed in a dedicated set of transport cases.
HUB Stations
Our HUB/MASTER stations are fully tailored to meet the infrastructure needs of end-users. GISS ensures seamless integration of antenna systems by selecting essential components such as antennas adopted to specific bands, transmitters and receivers. Additionally, we provide hardware and software integration of satellite modems, along with supervision and management the construction phase of the project (including civil works, if necessary).
The HUB/MASTER stations developed by GISS can feature antennas with aperture sizes ranging from 2.4 m to 4.6 m, operating in C, X, Ku and Ka bands. Connections between the ODU and IDU components can be established using traditional copper coax cables or via fiber optic connections using optical converters.
Connectivity Solutions
TacNet400 series is a structurally reinforced rapid response kit designed for efficient mobility and quick deployment of tactical communication networks for small and medium-sized teams. The kit consists of a rugged case, network equipment and power system, making it suitable for use in any environmental conditions.
The TacNet400 design allows for both AC and DC power supply and contains space for up to three PacStar 400 series devices, encryption device, LTE modem Cradlepoint IBR 600/900 or similar, essential cabling and military-type batteries. This configuration enables teams to set up and activate the kit within minutes of arriving at the operational site.
